How To Be More Legit On Purpose
Be on point, anytime you want.
I am so legit, but only when I am on purpose.
By “legit,” I mean: I am productive, I am in the flow, I am available to give energy to others, and at the end of a legit day, I put my head down on my pillow that night at a reasonable hour, toxin free, and scroll through a naturally-occurring playback feed of satisfaction.
And then I do it again the next day. If I get to a repetitive series of being on purpose, I feel really spectacular and the output — whatever output is important to me at that time — is equally as impressive according to the standards I set for myself.
Do you have a routine?
When is it? What is it? Do you even know? Have you played around with different recipes of a morning routine or an evening one, middle of the day, check-in’s on yourself?
In this conversation, a routine is not a schedule. It’s not doing the CHORES. In this story, when I talk about routine, I’m talking about the routine you apply (or not) to improve yourself and grow. And before you tell me you’re too busy or care about others too much to have time to do this, I will tell you that’s not true.
